According to the article 281 paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Regulation of the Athens Exchange, MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) S.A announces that its shareholder under the legal name Motor Oil Holdings S.A sold the aggregate of its stake in the Company totaling 18,173,690 shares on the business day of September 16th, 2005. Consequently, the participation percentage of Motor Oil Holdings S.A in the share capital of MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) S.A decreased from 16.4% to 0%.

MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) S.A announces that its shareholder under the legal name Motor Oil Holdings S.A made the following statement:
“Following a proposal of Aramco Overseas Company B.V, Motor Oil Holdings S.A with its letter dated September 15th, 2005 agreed, in the context of exercising the right of first refusal it had, to buy from Aramco Overseas Company B.V the stake of the latter in the Jersey, of United Kingdom, based company with the legal name Petroventure Holdings Limited as well as the aggregate of the shares of the also Jersey based company with the legal name Petroshares Limited”.
