Reply to Capital Market Commission Letter

Further to an announcement made earlier today in reference to press releases appearing in the daily press and in reply to a new letter dated September 6th, 2006 (Ref. No. 3757) addressed to it by the Capital Market Commission, the Company hereby acknowledges that there is no participation of the Russian Lukoil in the share capital of MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) S.A.
