nrg and HOCHTIEF join forces to expand the incharge network. 52 new fast charge stations in 13 Rest Areas

nrg, member of the Motor Oil Group, announces its partnership with HOCHTIEF for the expansion of incharge, nrg’s integrated fast chargers network, in national motorways.

Through their partnership, nrg and HOCHTIEF introduced the company Hellenic Fast Charging Services (HFCS). HFCS aims to deliver integrated electric vehicle charging services, including the management and operation of the relevant infrastructure.

HFCS will create 52 new fast charging stations in 13 Rest Areas in OLYMPIA ODOS and AEGEAN motorways, following completed agreements with these Concession Projects.

The two companies aim to further develop their partnership in the future, by creating more charging stations in selected locations within the national motorway network.

Mr. Anastasios Lostarakos, General Manager, nrg, commented about the new partnership: “We are excited for the launch of our joint initiative with HOCHTIEF, a top player in the infrastructures sector. Our company’s goal for incharge is to cover the largest part of the National Motorway Network. With strategic partnerships such as the introduction of HFCS, we are taking a significant step to the right direction”.

Mr. Peter Coenen, General Manager, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH, commented: “We are happy for our company’s support and contribution on the development of e-mobility in Greece, moving towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly motorway network on a European level”.

nrg with incharge, the largest network of fast charging stations in the country, is a leading energy company in e-mobility.

Moving forward, the incharge network is expanding with the addition of 52 new fast charging stations through 26 180 kW fast chargers in 13 Rest Areas. The new stations will be working non-stop throughout the year – providing electric vehicle drivers with the possibility of fast charging their vehicles during their trips.
