Announcement of other important matters

Following the announcement dated November 26th, 2009 regarding their joint engagement in importing and trading activities of Natural Gas, the Groups of MOTOR OIL and MYTILINEOS hereby announce that the delivery of the 65,000 cubic meter LNG cargo which arrived on December 2nd, 2009 was not feasible, given that the transmission agreement was not timely signed by DESFA (Natural Gas Transmission System Operator) on the grounds that further amendments should be introduced by RAE (Regulatory Authority for Energy) to the secondary regulatory framework of the Law 3428 concerning “Liberalization of the Natural Gas market” even though this Law is effective since 2005.
